Infinix S5 Pro Specifications and Price 2019

Late 2019, Infinix released the Infinix S5 android smartphone, followed by the lower version dubbed Infinix S5 Lite. Both phones till today are still trending hot in the market. Then, in January 2020, there were reports that the company will be releasing a new budget smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. Some reports claimed that the phone will be named Infinix S6, while some believe it is Infinix S5 Pro.  Finally, we believe the phone is the Infinix S5 Pro.

According to what we gathered so far from a leaked photo of the phone, it will be shipped with a motorized pop-up camera for selfies and a notch-less display.  A report from 91Mobiles had revealed that it will be launching on February 18.

Infinix S5 Pro will also be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery along with an AI smart power management feature. The phone could be fueled by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and it may house a rear-facing fingerprint reader which we are yet to confirm. The S5 Pro is also expected to feature a 3.5mm audio jack as well.

The Infinix S5 Pro is actually the first smartphone from Infinix to feature a Pop-up shooter. Now, when you look at the leaked photo, the phone has the volume rocker and power buttons placed on the right side of the phone. Also, the budget smartphone comes in two color options like Green and Violet. All other features, except the pop-up camera, are just the same as the S5. Another difference is that S5 Pro runs on Android 10Q.

On the rear, the Infinix S5 is equipped with a triple camera setup containing a 16-megapixel main lens, a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens, a depth sensor, and a depth macro lens. The S5 Lite, on the other hand, comes with a dual rear camera setup that has 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel. Both phones come with rear-mounted fingerprint scanners. The Infinix S5 price in Nigeria is about N48,000/$150 or less while the S5 Lite is price N40,000/$120 or less.
